Jump Out: Album Review
Jan 24, 2025
Osamason, an artist hailing from Goose Creek, South Carolina, has been making waves since his first project ‘Osama Season’ in the summer of 2023. Since then he has released 1 more album, ‘Flex Musix’, that same year in December. Osamason was originally labeled a Ken Carson clone who rapped on TDF beats… And I won’t lie I was saying the same things. But to say since then Osamason hasn’t evolved would be nothing but lies.
In recent news, Osamason has been under heat with the resurfacing of old TikTok videos and School News videos that questioned the authenticity of Osamason and his image/who he claims to be. Whether the people are right or not, all i can think is goddamn does he know how to put an album together. In this project Osamason made it clear he was set on his path, following no one.

With the release of Nettspend’s Album ‘Bad Ass Fucking Kid’ just last month with the same executive producer, OK, I was concerned that the 2 albums may have sounded the same.. But I was wrong. Osamason effortlessly paved his own wave with this album through proper and tasteful experimentation with a smooth falsetto (not to be compared to the Playboi Carti “baby voice”) and original flows, while remaining true to the origins of his sound. I find it that with many new artists, it’s hard not to make the same song over and over again without completely switching up the style, but Osamason was able to do so in a tremendous way.

Although, I will admit. At some points in this project it seemed the Hook was carrying the songs, and there were some filler tracks. But every song that hit, hit and hit hard. I hope Osama can keep it up after this, he has set the standard very high for himself.
