Favorites: Slushy Noobz (Interview)

Slushy Noobz have cemented themselves as kings of a new generation of internet comedy. The duo consists of Martin and Hamzah, two Canadian friends who met on TikTok. 

Throughout their journey to viral fame, the boys have built their brand in close connection with music, especially underground musicians. It was for this exact reason that I wanted to speak to them. I think they perfectly portray the ever blurring gap between artists, content creators, and the internet’s algorithm.

Sadprt spoke to Slushy Noobz about their favorite things, here’s what they had to say:

Hamzah: August

Martin: April

Favorite item in the room with you right now?

Hamzah: Squeezy Gatorade water bottle

Martin: Lego Thanos glove Hamzah got me

Favorite vending machine snack?

Hamzah: Barbeque Lays chips

Martin: Oh Henry

Favorite Memory with each other?

Hamzah: Boxing each other

Martin: Waterfall rappelling in Costa Rica

Favorite Haircut you’ve had?

Hamzah: Blondzah, blonde buzzcut

Martin: Bald

Favorite fan interaction?

Hamzah: A manic person read my palm on a bridge and said I would have great luck

Martin: Someone came up to me and said I was one of a kind, that felt really nice to hear and stuck with me

Hamzah: Massi
