TOP100GRAMMY: Album Review
May 25, 2025
Aceii, an artist from Brooklyn and member of Shed Theory, is flying under the radar, and fans are missing out. While Shed Theory is known for its abrasive, experimental, and progressive sound, Aceii is tuned into what listeners actually want right now. His latest solo project, TOP100GRAMMY, his third since debuting in 2022, is proof that he’s the standout voice in the group.
Unlike some of his Shed peers, Aceii strikes a balance between modern appeal and individuality, similar to how Joeyy has been moving since 2022. Even more impressive is that he produced nearly every track himself, with the exception of “Yak!” and “Bron,” which feature production help from Bruno Zero, Gyo Zuh, and Genski.
Still, the solo-produced tracks shine brightest. They highlight Aceii’s sound and voice in a way that feels fully his own. While the two co-produced songs lean more into that signature Shed Theory edge, the solo cuts feel more personal and consistent with his vision.

The album has a light, upbeat energy while staying sharp and confident. That makes the short runtime, just eight tracks, a little disappointing. It feels more like a teaser than a full-length statement. A few more songs could’ve really solidified its impact.
Lyrically, it has moments that feel a bit numb, but that doesn’t hurt the project much. The songs are tight and well-paced, and the production carries everything with ease. It’s a effortless listen from beginning to end.
Overall, TOP100GRAMMY is one of the strongest releases to come from a Shed Theory member in a while. Aceii shows that he’s not just riding the wave, he’s building his own. If he keeps this momentum, he’s got a real shot at a standout career. Fans of the collective and newcomers alike should definitely tap in.
