Sin Ever After: Album Review
Nov 3, 2025
Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, rapper and producer 1oneam has been a household name in the underground since making strides in the former group known as Slime Krew in 2023. From this group came artists like Osamason, Ohsxnta, Okaymar, TDF, and Boolymon, among others still regarded in today’s scene. Though 1oneam still collaborates with producers like TDF, Perc40, and 19thou, his main success has come through solo production on songs like “Vogue,” “Want To,” and “Death Of Me,” each of which found notable traction on TikTok and Instagram and came from his 2024 project One Death.

Come October 24, 2025, 1oneam finally released his new album Sin Ever After. With no features, the album boasts a strong team of producers including TDF, Perc40, and Gyro. The bulk of the production comes from TDF, but we also see some solo production on “I Can Fly” and “Ain’t My Life,” which feature unique vocal chop sampling reminiscent of Daft Punk.

Here, 1oneam channels influences like Izaya Tiji, Summrs, and Slayworld in a tasteful, engaging way. These can be heard in “Who Am I?,” “Just Like Me,” and “Understand Me,” with choppy yet luscious flows and a relaxed, atmospheric cadence that Slayworld popularized back in 2019.
While the stronger songs stand out and elevate the overall experience, a few tracks fall flat. Not that any are bad, but some bleed together, sounding too similar, or feel like filler. Examples being “Golden Token,” “Let It Go,” and “Fuck The Talk.”

Overall, this marks an upward trajectory in 1oneam’s artistic direction and, in my opinion, leaves a more lasting impression than any previous project. 1oneam remains an intriguing figure in the current underground, and he clearly knows how to pair his vocal style with the right production effectively.
